The large version of the X-Carve machine, I'm not sure what size of CNC your looking for.

I tweeted them and asked if it could cut aluminum but no answer. Can it?

It can you just have to take your time on these DIY types.

In their FAQ:

What materials can I carve on the machine?

Woods (both hard and soft), various plastics and non-ferrous metals like aluminum, copper and brass.

The Shapeoko 3 and C-Beam OX's are a bit more rigid than the X-Carves though.

Yes it does soft material and metals like aluminum, as Drrizz just said.

One really good tip I picked up if your just doing long rip cuts or straight cuts of stock or materials a table saw with just a regular carbide wood blade works amazingly well, there are oils or waxes that can help also, not to mention the proper aluminium cutting blades which are the same thing but less rake on the teeth and etc..
