So I decided that I didn't like paying for a 26 gallon (98.5 liters) to fill up my truck. So I did a custom looped 1gal tank. Now it only cost $2.50 to fill my truck!

Or you know, just put one gallon in the normal tank.

Yeah... you might've just significantly lowered the driving range of your truck... not sure how that helps you, but if it suits then why not...

 

Edit: A gallon is roughly 4L, so that's more or less 60km on my 2000 Lynx Ghia (1.6L, M/T)

As both an Amateur auto mechanic (I know how an engine works, I know the principles involved, and can probably figure out most repairs on any car made before 2000) and an apocalypse preparedness person, I can say one thing:

Obviously I'm not serious. I'm running an upper engine cleaner for my injectors. You can't run it through the tank so you have to disconnect the lines. 1 gallon will last 2hrs idle or 18 miles, which ever comes first :)
