Hey, this is probably asked a lot but one more question isnt gonna hurt anybody 😁

Basically i was wondering, if my gpus bios wasnt updated would i even see the re size bar option in bios? I enabled it in bios, my launch CSM is always disabled, my bios mode is UEFI, so pretty much i did everything except updating the gpu 😅...because i tought that BIOS settings will appear only if gpu is updated. In System Information in NVCP it says its not enabled so im guessing it still needs to be updated. I have asus strix 3070 and i know that 3070 and above need to get updated, but im a 2nd owner so i tought the guy maybe did it 🤷‍♀️.

Anyways let me know if i missed to do or enable something.

Thanks in advance!!

You need to enable it in BIOS look for:
On Gigabyte board for example its Settings -> IO Ports

Above 4G Decoding

Re-Size Bar Support

Then you can check in GPU-Z

If it says Re-Bar is on in GPU-Z, its on.

What is the issue?

If you want another opinion, check Nvidia Control Panel. Click System Information on the bottom left.

The issue was weird, i double checked my gpu model, updated vbios again and now it works perfectly. Even tho it said driver was installed it didnt work, now its fixed. In gpuz it said its not enabled in bios, but it was, rly weird

i know that 3070 and above need to get updated,

only the hash rate limited ones dont need an update, everything before those do.

btw, i have a launch 3070, no resize bar and there are no issues whatsoever. but anyways the "issue" seems to be fixed (i say *issue* because depending on title performance is actually worse with resize bar)

Its actually not, Nvidia limits rebar in drivers only to selected Games and my guess would be 2 games that see benefit, you can always force it with Nvidia Inspector.
