Insanely high ram usage in idle on windows 10

SauronsV

Apparently on both my laptop and PC I have insanely high ram usage in idle and such. It says I use around 4gb ram with 1 tab open in microsoft edge about 50%. This happens to both my laptop and desktop pc. Can you guys check if you have the same problem please? And do you know how to fix it?

EDIT: My ram usage adds up to around 1gb ram not 4gb

how about we don't ever use any browser that comes stock with windows OSs? get chrome or firefox

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Nope I don't seem to have this problem. I would try a clean install or just use a different browser.

follow your own topic.

open task manager and see what's munching all your memory.

OS will use anywhere from 1 to 2 gigs without really giving you an account for where it goes.

There have been lots of reports of memory leaks with windows 10 lately..

I haven't found a solution, hopefully ms will release an update addressing the issue.
