Are you disappointed with windows 10?

comicsansms

After the 10 Hours of getting this thing to work, I now feel that it is very disappointed.

Do you feel like it is very disappointing are do you think it is good?

Hell no. I've had very few issues and I love the whole OS. Nothing wrong with it. It's what people have been asking for.

It is brand new OS, what the hell did you expect on day one?

I had to manually run a program and fake my language and where I live for it to do anything.

and most of the time it still didn't work.

More than the 2 week after public testing version of Windows 10

I had 0 problems with the preview too, after using it for a month as my daily driver.

At this point Microsoft is still trying to recover from Windows 8/8.1, right now Windows 10 is on par with Windows 7 IMO(ignoring some of the bogus "sketchy" stuff with Windows 10). I'm personally moving on to Linux and hope more people follow. I've been using Ubuntu as my primary OS for 2 hours now(returning linux user) and most things about it make Windows look like dated trash.

I found problems with them (3 actually)

But this install, it goes to about 10.

It's about what I had expected. There are always a few little annoyances or things I think should work differently, but overall it's good stuff.

Same for me.

Actually I didn't expect Cortana to work in Italy, but it did!

I'm voting yes because my computer does not want to stop giving me an error code I cannot even google to find answers about.

So, you're disappointed with Windows Update? That's not about Windows 10. Stop wrecking the vote.

I have a lot of reasons still not to like Windows 10. Like for one how buggy it still is. They had time to fix it.

Don't know: it took me years to move to even 7 so I'm sticking this one out for a while. Potentially when my GPU is a bit too old and I won't upgrade for a good while, I might get it to squeeze out more performance out of it with DX12

Though if I can help it, I would do that with Vulkan instead.

Not disappointed at all, but that's only because I already had a suspicion that it would be a mess.

The styling is completely incoherent, the control panel (my apologies, "Settings menu") is a lesson in how to waste screen space, the settings themselves are all over the place.

It just looks and feels like it was made by several people who had no idea what the others were doing.

And don't get me started on those fugly tiles ...

So far, no.

I do get a lot of freezes and shit however, but the features and workflow seem alright to me.

Again, I hate how it's broken atm, but the general idea is pretty good I think.

So many things I could write here... things like this.

Its in terrible condition for release. Most of its unique features (besides Cortana) are bugged and/or altogether broken. This is the dumbest first day release I've ever encountered. This game is nowhere near ready and from the looks of things, won't be for a while. Reminds me of a certain AAA videogame developer/publisher... *cough*Ubi*cough cough*.
