Has anyone a complete sky lake map including all the CPUs, chipsets, and sockets(including xeons if possible).

Also question will x99 platform be retired?

And if it is will enthusiast chips and consumer chips be under 6xxx rather than 6xxxx and 7xxx?

No X99 will not be retired.

Skylake only has 4 cores, so i'd need a 50% improvement to match 5820k and 5930k in multicore performance and 100% improvement to match 5960X.

Intel dedicated a lot of die space to GPU gfx so best case we are looking at 20% ipc improvement over haswell.

I think they'll retire X99 and LGA 2011-3, they may name their replacements X190 and LGA 2011-5 (LGA 2011-4 being Broadwell-E). As in all generations since Sandy Bridge, they'll have two sockets, and the enthusiast CPUs will be one generation ahead of the mainstream CPUs in terms of name scheme, so Skylake is 61xx to 67xxK, Broadwell-E is 68xxK to 69xxX, and Skylake-E is 78xxK to 79xxX.

DT are features that will only by found in desktop computers

while All in one computers will have separate features/limitations

Well, not scrapped, but it'll only have the i5-5675c and the i7-5775c for the desktop market, and the various U-series chips for mobile. They pretty much released a few models to recoup the R&D.

No X99 will not be retired.

Looking at leaked benchmarks, it looks to be at most a 10% increase in ipc.

Intel X99 belongs to their HEDT platform while the Intel Z170 belongs to their Mainstream platform. Both of these are 2 separate products. Whatever Intel release for their Mainstream line, will not have any affect on their HEDT platform and vice versa. So with the release of Intel Skylake, Intel X99 will not be retiring anytime soon. By the time X99 retires, Intel Mainstream will probably be at CannonLake.

So skylake x99 chips?

Skylake for HEDT will be Skylake-E, it will come out according to its own separate release schedule. It has nothing to do with the current Mainstream Skylake. For the processors, no words on any of them yet. But here is a roadmap of it.

Why is cannon lake only useful on the two of the bottom tiers and ignored on the rest?

Those are not bottom tiers, their mobile platforms. As for why it's ignored on the rest, it's not ignored, just delayed.

If it's hard to manufacture why delay for all but mobile platforms. I was referring to bottom of graph not price bracket as I worked they were mobile earlier. The absolute bottom of the chart is atom right.
