I'm not sure I'm understanding how the multi monitor setup actually works? I was assuming that you use a single cable from your graphics card that then powers the multi display. Or if your using SLI or CrossFire you have your gpus linked together but one cable from the master gpu going to the monitor. Or is it you use multi graphics cards each connecting to its own monitor? Like how do you have two monitors display as if they were a single one?

There are multiple outputs from you gpu so you plug each monitor into it's own output and windows and your graphics driver deal with the rest

Your graphics card has multiple "outlets" that it can display data thru. You just have to plug in each monitor to a different "outlet"
