The R4 without a single doubt in my mind. It looks way sleeker than the Silverstone one.

I simply rather have the R4 next to me than that other abomination.

| GPU: GT 650M | CPU: i5-3210M | Excuse my language, sometimes I can be pretty vulgar.

except for looks is there any other reason the fractal r4 is more preferred?

In for R4 camp

They're really quality, case feels sturdy, thick panels, everything fits well. Stock fans are quiet enough to use with Noctuas, glorious amount of room in the back for cable management and the inside has plenty of rooms, the flexibility of the HDD cage was a pretty nice feature. In addition to, you know, looking nice. I remember when I was unboxing it, the concept of hardware porn never resonated so well with me before.

As for the sound dampening I'm not entirely sure, but a few people that have come into my room and told me they couldn't hear it until the walked up next to it.

Error: 410

I personally think the Silverstone looks better (for me, anyways), but i'd still take the R4 for a bunch of reasons:

1) rubber grommets for cable mgmt inside. huuuuge plus for that extra clean look.

2) don't like that handle/hot swap thing on top of the TJ-04

3) nicer feet on the r4
