which is better and what is the difference?

what's the main difference between the the graphics of AMD's APU(A8 ... SO ON) and that of INTEL's CPU( intel hd graphics and so on... like 3000 or 4000 ....... )

which is better for gaming?

Well intel is stronger then APU so i think intel is better for gaming. but APU is great too

AMD APU's provide MUCH better graphics performance than Intel processors.

Intel processor provide better CPU performance

For gaming, assuming you're not buying a discrete graphics card, an APU will be a much better choice.

EDIT -

If you are buying a dedicated GPU then either get an Intel CPU or a CPU from AMD's FX line up.

Lot of badly worded (even though correct) replies here. Here is my take;

If you are planning on doing any real gaming in near HD or above HD resolutions you will need a dedicated graphics card. While having a dedicated graphics card you will not be gaining performance from the CPUs graphics power (this would be the A8/Intel HD 3000, etc that you are referring to).

For gaming without a graphics card the AMD APUs destroy anything else from AMD or Intel. With this said they still are not that powerful, and should only be used at very low resolutions with low details.

For gaming WITH a graphics card (which you should be doing if you even remotely serious about gaming) you don't shop via what graphics the CPU has. Instead you just go based on the CPU architecture. Right now Intel has the best performance for gaming in this category, but AMD isn't far behind (FOR GAMING) and is much cheaper.

Not true. An AMD APU is considerably better for gaming since the inbuilt graphics are much better than anything on an intel. An intel i5 or i7 does have better CPU performance but gaming would be heavily limited by the inbuilt graphics. " A is better than B but B is great to" doesn't really answer any question either.
