If you have a legitimate license key for Windows 7 then it is pretty easy. Go to the Microsoft Software Recovery website and enter your license key and language. Then you need to hit verify product key which can take several minutes and won't work if you have a non-retail product key. Once verified, download the ISO you need and then use Rufus to create a bootable USB device of that ISO. If you are planning to use it on a system that boots in UEFI mode, then make sure the partition table is set to GPT for UEFI.

Im helping my friend upgrade to his SSD tmr! But i need to create a bootable windows 7 USB installer... D:

From bios

Format the USB in FAT32, copy the contents of the ISO to the USb drive, copy bootsect.exe from the boot folder to your hard drive, run the command

bootsect /nt60 E:\

where E is the drive letter for the USB.
