Hey

What liquid cooling (AIO) should I get for my upcoming gaming pc with the case H440 from NZXT. Ill be overclocking. Im wondering about the X61 from NZxt but given that it is over 170 euros, it is quite expensive. If it is super good then ill get it, what you guys think?

Or is there a better alternative?

I dont mind on the size, just has to fit in my h440

Thanks

I have the X61 in the H440 and it suits me well :) but alternatives from Corsair like the H110 ad such may be enough

Is the x61 quiet yet powerful at load for you?

the H100iGTX is a good alternative, or the H105 for a bit more performance and no corsair link

The H105 isn't any better, OC3D's benchmarking showed the h100i GTX was ~2c better.

The H105 is a 37mm radiator

the H100iGTX is only 30mm

they probably used bad fans or didnt normalize ambient temperature or something like that

Radiator thickness isn't everything. I believe the H100i GTX has an updated pump & may have denser fins, that could be contributing to the better performance.

Ambient temp was 1c hotter for h105 test, temp was roughly 2.2c hotter, so subtract that 1c, and you're left with ~1.2c better.

I believe the fans are the exact same, as they're the OEM corsair ones that come with it.

pump would not make a temperature difference

and from what I can tell the fin density is the same too

I would look for more than one source because there is always a few degrees margin of error

The noisiest component is my reference 980Ti :D I barely hear the fans on the X61 and my load temps are roughly 63°C at stock clock on my 4790K during 100% load on folding :) @ColdDigital

I get almost the same temps on my i5 with a 212 evo. On folding I hit around 60-65 max temps
