Buzzing Noise In My Audio Recordings

azurite2

Ok, so I use a turtle beach x12 earforce headset and in my audio recordings this buzzing noise will show up. This noise isn't necessarily consistent either, it may be there at the beginning or show up half way through. Now I have read in some places this is a grounding problem, but I don't believe that's whats causing it. Thank you in advanced!

That would be background noise, usually fans, wind, etc.

What program are you using? I have the same headset, but I just switched to a Blue Mic for $46 and it works wonders (as LONG as you have a noise gate in the program you use to record)

GIGABYTE Z97MX-G516GB DDR3 | I5 4690k @ 4.4ghz | 1TB SSHD, 500GB HDD, 128GB SSD | GTX 1070 8GB | Corsair Graphite 230 | EVGA 650W | Hyper 212 EVO

Cinebench R15: 636(all cores), 127FPS

I use Dxtory to record (no clue if it has a noise gate).

Might I suggest OBS? It's interesting to set up, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Not to mention you can set a hell of a lot more settings to get EXACTLY what you want for recording.

NOTE: It has been updated GREATLY sense this video was made; video quality is good now.

And if you have it set up right or have a GTX graphics card, your CPU usage wont fly up.
