Power supply is quite bad actually. I'd suggest getting a CS or better from Corsair or a SeaSonic unit with at least 500W like the SeaSonic M12II 520W

Edit: Also get the OS from reddit for like 10 bucks.

I'm mainly concerned about if the power supply is of good quality and if the wattage will be enough.

cheaper mobo, air cooling, then throw an i3 in there so you can run "Quad core games". :P

I agree with what @c_marriott said. I run a G3258 oc'd @ 4.9GHz using a be quiet Pure Rock. AND my temps under load are only like 60c max in the summer. Save some money and go for an air cooler in the $30 range like the Pure Rock, love this cooler. That PSU is good but i mey try and spring for a larger wattage one. Also, and this may be controversial on here, but go on ebay and look to get like a 280x at least. I got a 290x off of ebay for $150usd and ive had no problems with it.

You don't need an anniversary board for an i3... anything up from the H81-p33 is fine.

I agree with going for ebay buys. But I think go one step further and try and find it on craigslist or a site that you can meet the seller locally. That way the seller can have it in a running setup and prove that it works.

I don't trust the Z97 Anniv. boards ever since I had Caps and VRMs go bad from a mild overclock on a G3258.... Really bad quality control on those boards.

And really at this price point I don't think a 4690k is something you should try to squeeze in.

Using CL is preferable but like i know near me no one sells anything but real old ones on it. Like GTX 500 and lower series lol. I saw a 7850 once for $200 lol. Ebay unless you find an epic deal on CL is your best bet for a GPU.

STOP PUTTING A $80 MOBO IN THIS!

Its pointless at this price point, B85 or H81 is what he should be looking at. An i3 doesn't need a mobo of that price.
