Hi!

My gpu broke and in the shop they are giving me a refund for it (as the GPU that broke is no longer available because its a 650ti).

I need a new GPU for this rig that is not over 150ish € range. System is used for light gaming (WoW, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, Terraria and such).

Need to buy from http://www.pccomponentes.com/  or https://www.alternate.es

System specs:

- AMD A10-7850K 3.7Ghz with stock cooler
- AsRock FM2A88X Extreme6+
- G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1866 PC3-14900 8GB 2x4GB CL9
- Seagate SSHD 1TB SATA 3
- Be Quiet! BQT-P6-430W-PRO

Do we know more or less when the 950ti is expected to launch?

Well, we can speculate that it's going to be soon (in fact it's overdue) because of how nvidia timed releases last generation.

It's probably overdue because nvidia released the 750ti quite late on (relatively speaking) so they want to get maybe another 6 weeks (tops) out of it.

Can't wait that long? get the one the guy above me said but it's going to be close with your power supply to be honest.

Yeah, it will be very close... Might need a upgrade on that sadly.

I can put the R7 250 I have in my HTPC or even use the APU integrated GPU to run meanwhile. I think it can take WoW and GW2 1080p in low settings. I have a 650W PSU lying arround my house if I need some more W, so that isn't really an issue. I read that AMD GPU tend to run very very hot and I'm not friend with very hot because I'm trying to get the PC to be as quiet as possible and hot means more RPM in the fans to cool the system which causes more noise

Yeah, you could put your R7 25o in your rig as a temporary measure and then when the 950ti comes out, you could go for that. I speculate that you'll be glad you waited.

okay in your price range your best card would be the r9 270.  The 750Ti is no longer a great option for its price range because AMD cards are coming down due to Nvidia's new releases and the 300 series cards.  The 750ti is a good cheap card if you dont have the PSU to support a better card.  Which im assuming you do have.  So the 270 will work great with your price point, and i believe can even crossfire with your onboard graphics but i would check benchmarks on that to see if it hinders the card or helps.  But if you need proof here it is that the 270 crushes the 750ti in every way at the $150 price point and i used a 270x until i got a 290 and the 270 is a great card for OC'ing and i got 120-150 frames in league of legends so for light gaming it is outstanding, and i also could hold 55 frames on battlefield maxed out while driving a second monitor.  So here is the proof:

and i hope your gaming experience is a great one!

EDIT: in case you're worried the 270 line is not a hot card at all, and i couldnt get it to pass 65 degrees with some bad airflow.  I got a new case and saw a drop of about 6 degrees under load.  So dont worry at all on that front
