Go to solution Solved by EK Luc,

Hi i bought this block when i water cooled my 3770k and it worked fine but now I want to water cool my X99 Asus-s 5820k if I change the plate inside to the 2011 one would it be ok to use or are the plates different for 2011-3 blocks ?

It will work :)

The Supremacy EVO would likely be better for that CPU, but the Supremacy should still work just as well. Just mount it to the CPU with fresh thermal paste and see how the temperatures go. If they're not acceptable to you, then upgrade to the EVO.

Wife's build: Amethyst - Ryzen 9 3900X, 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X570-P, EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 12GB, Corsair Obsidian 750D, Corsair RM1000 (yellow label)

My build: Mira - Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB EVGA DDR4-3200, ASUS Prime X470-PRO, EVGA RTX 3070 XC3, beQuiet Dark Base 900, EVGA 1000 G6
