GPU overclocking issue..?

Go to solution Solved by SkilledRebuilds,

Oh. No problem then. :)

GPU usage looks normal though...

99-100% when active through the first two tests, and the lower GPU usage is the loading screens and CPU test.

I'd still use a game/valley to test it, giving it FULL 99-100% use for extended periods of time, for testing.

Not the intermittent 100% usage for 30s of testing and then not used again for a few seconds (leaving it time to cool/power down)

Not indicative of a fully fledged test.

/All of my 880-900Mhz stock HD7950's could easily pump 1000Mhz-1100Mhz easy. Some with extra voltage getting to 1150-1175Mhz.

/Dat glorious HD7950 headroom!

/Put the "Power" to a positive value,+5 or +20 it enables the card to NOT declock under load (if it ever wanted to) and to maintain full 3D clocks for longer.

So I've got an AMD Sapphire 7950 3GB Flex edition. I've tried overclocking

My overclocking

7c0568f5ef62f98cb1090e3f87f63419.png

Added 100 mhz each to the Core Clock and on the Memory Clock

This is the graph of the usage while running 3D Mark.

Perhaps you should fire up an actual game @Abdul201588, that way its easier to narrow down the problem . (Or Unigine Valley/Heaven, they are far more stressful and can be run constantly).

I think it's an afterburner thing! as sometimes while stressing my 980ti it only runs at 800Mhz.

try running kombustor, but not through afterburner. run it independently.

I tend to set the resolution to 1400p, 8x AA and use tesaltating spheres 32.

if that doesn't work I don't know what's going on.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Does anybody have a 7750 for sale I could really use one for like $40-$60 because on eBay and Amazon they're like $100 full retail, no ones gonna pay that for a two and a half year old card

Check the classifieds.
