Hey guys! My GTX 980 Ti is capping everything at 60fps. People are saying that it's because of my 60 Hz monitor, and vsync being on. Vsync is turned off, I did it manually in the control panel. It's still capped at 60fps. It did the exact same thing when I had my GTX 970. I can not figure out what it is. Can anybody please help me? And it isn't a certain game, it's capped at 60fps all the time. Thanks- Jordan :)

Look at the Nvidia control panel. See if theres an automatic V-Sync there.

Or, look in the game settings.

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

A 60 Hz monitor can not display more then 60fps so there is no reason to turn V-sync off

Is it dipping below 60fps constantly?

if not i wouldn't complain not like you can display over 60 anyway.

I need to benchmark it though.

Bold is true, normal isn't.

V-Sync is guilty of some input lags. So it's better to be turned off until really necessary.

I need to benchmark it though.

Wait hold on.
