Heyyo,

It'll run those games relatively well. Only Crysis 1 and 2 you might have to lower your settings quite a bit since they are graphically intensive games.

What kind of budget do you have? What currency do you use? All new parts or going to recycle an older PC? We could always try and help you piece together a unit.

Heyyo,

My PC Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/sNPscf

My Android Phone: Exodus Android on my OnePlus One 64bit in Sandstone Black in a Ringke Fusion clear & slim protective case

How fx 6300 with r9 270x going to perform in these games la noire max payne 3 dead space 2 fear 1,2,3 deus ex human revolution batman arkham asykum, city, crysis 1,2 resident evil 4,5,6, darksiders 1,2. Pls help

I told you IN YOUR FIRST THREAD, it bottlenecks my 260x in games that are using 2-4 cores with my mums FX-6300.

F2P games (Planetside 2, MMO's), World of Tanks, World of Warships, GTA5, all hate the FX CPU's, and these are not the only games that suffer frame drops...

Jesus stop with fanboyism if i wanted intel then i would pick it not asking for amd...

Your asking a performance question , we are giving you performance info..

Dont get your nickers in a knot, it's just that the more people you ask your gunna get the same responses.

It's not fanboyism dude, its pure FACT.

Gaming = FX failure in the long run, saving up for an Intel Rig NOW, stops you having to save twice...

If you wanna waste your money on a FX Gaming rig with shitty minimums and framedrops, go ahead. No1 is holding a gun to your head.

If your Rendering 24/7/or doing content creation thats the only reason to get an FX machine, and as the Intel's are not far behind in THAT regard... Why not have the best of both worlds (Gaming+Content Creation) and be able to game properly on that productivity machine too...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

This ^^^ I used to have a fx6300 CPU and ever since I switched to my 4690k the framedrops have been nonexistent and everything is just buttery smooth. Except Witcher 3, that game destroys my computer, but only because of my 780 being outdated :(

If only every person who did that gave @Faceman their personal testimonial to add to the "FX is not good for Gaming" factoid post we all share time to time...

AMD haven't released a new processor architecture since 2011. They're going to release their first product in five years (not counting overclocks of existing products) next year. Until then AMD don't have anything for you.

if you are buying a new system, i would go intel (i would not recommend the pentium). But opposed to what others are saying in this thread, the 6300 is fine and WILL NOT BOTTLENECK A 270X (jesus people...). I have a 280x and a 6300 as my everyday gaming / work computer and no bottleneck, my fps remains very good in BF4 multiplayer 64 player maps (50-60 with a dip sometimes in the high 40s but its rare) on max settings.

I refuse to read threads whose author does not know how to remove the caps lock!

i have a 6300 with a big cm air cooler & saphire 270x with 8 gig of ram.My system works a treat.Games like skyrim (very modded)work on ultra settings. In fact non of my components get above 40c temp wise even with the latest titles and thats after a full day of gaming. Not tried it above 1920x1080 as thats my native refresh resolution, but itshows no probs whatever i do on it.I can't be arsed with power consumption etc,as long as my games play well i,ll stick with what i have.

Your fx-6300 will get a handy boost with Vulkan and DX12 multi-threading becoming the norm.

You would have already seen it with Mantle but that was only for a few games.
