Yes. But it was a pain to enable it.

And I think you needed Visual Studio and stuff, although I don't recall correctly.

 

I can't recall if it required Visual Studio but it did require entering a command in PowerShell.

All you need to do is run the following in powershell:

import-module appxadd-appxpackage “\path\to\SampleApp”

If you running PS v3+ you don't even need the first line of that. There is also a GP/Local Policy that needs setting up, but that is what 3 clicks?
