So, my Samsung 850 EVO SSD arrived today! Time to install ALL OF THE THINGS!

......zzzzzz......seriously, 200?

How many of you hate doing fresh OSs, especially slightly older ones, and it doing a ton of updates once they finish installing?

I use ISO's that already have the updates, saves me a lot of time :D

windows 7 record, 177 updates, after 16 hours it was still at 127. At that time i decided to give up, and i didn't bother anymore with updates.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Thats alright, doing some maintenance of my grandfather's iMac we ran into a power outage during an OS update. So, we had to reinstall the OS. And, oh boy... Took 16 hours for the thing to download and install. thanks crappy old 600KBs internet :D

Lol... i remember back in the day 500KBs was the shit. Then we upgraded to a 1.2MBs package and it was like, holy crap, browse all the web :D

Pro-tip

Alt+Print Screen

Takes a screenshot of only the window, not your whole screen

Wasn't signed in on that computer, and it was quicker for me to take the picture and upload it to imgur.

Currently on my laptop, and have been this entire time.

Updates might get annoying but they sure do make a difference in the long run, take Vista for example, install all the updates and service pack 2 and it comes very close in performance to Windows 7 if not the same. Sure was not like that when it first came out, same with XP and 8.

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I lost the disc, getting Win 10 as soon as it comes out so it's really not that big of an issue

Making new disc or USB... or just holding F8 to get into recovery optios. And then there's sfc/ scannow. So in the end, you really must not be that worried over it or are just plain lazy.
