I'm planning on building a new pc and i'm starting with an i5 4690k and one gtx 980. I was just wondering if i wanted to add another 980 down the line would that i5 botleneck it?

Perhaps on the very rare occasion a game is horribly unoptimized. But those are few and far between, and every cpu will bottleneck in that scenario.
