The arcticstorm 980ti from zotac is bluer, but it isn't cheaper

well the biggest cash drop is the 980ti,

but in general it would be hard to drop more than ~40$ without eating in on quality.

How much are you hoping to pay in total ? 1500$ ?

Ehhhh

I think that maybe you'd be able to get away with a FX 8320 or a locked i5 and like an R9 Fury (but since the non-X Fury is not being sold yet, idk)

REALLY REALLY. ..

8320 + 980 TI? ??????

and the locked i5 will get a bit lower fps than the k.. since I'll be overclocking to say 4.5

Just the 24" 4K display bugs me a bit.  You are driving a high resolution but not reaping the all the benefits.

So you want to shave off 7$ ? xD

The only thing I would change would be the monitor, you are spending 350$ on it,

get a nice ips / 144hz pannel, 4k is hard to drive and at that size it's kind of dumb

im kinda aware of it but i love pixel dense screesns and i can always change the resolution whenever I want.. and also i dont play much intensive games.. i checked all the games i want to play and they all will play at 60fps smoothly. . most will even get to 144 + frames at 1080p or even 1440 maxed out.. but i want to play all at 4k 60fps.. also one thing is that at 4k i wont be needing any much AA. .. i planned to do this http://pcpartpicker.com/user/donsleeq/saved/RC2NnQ ... what do you think.. . see the things i sacrificed for a 980 ti. . verry funny

I would get a 1440p ips monitor and not a 4K one.

Or even a 21:9

Your above build was quite good http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Cb8fZL

Maybe not the 980 Ti... I still think that you'd be better off buying a 1440p display and either running 1440p or 4k instead of gaming at native 4K.

If it's just a couple FPS then that's really not a huge benefit but I guess it makes your build sound a bit more interesting than if you were just at stock speeds.
