Some screencapped numbers or recordings would be nice.

If only CS:GO had a benchmark feature that ran a predetermined demo file like CS:S did :/

Well why do you think everyone wants 300 fps in cs:go, it's those dips what kill you. :mellow:

Input lag

AMD 860K @ 4.3GHz ; Kingston HyperX Fury 2400MHz ; Asus A88XM-Plus ; Sapphire R9 270X 2GB ; 600W Tacens Radix VII AG 80+Silver  ; Cooler Master TX3 Evo

Input lag

That too. But going from 200 to 300 gets you like what 2ms?

Maxed out everything but turned of AA and turned all shader related things to low, and the performance is acceptable

debating right now on whether or not to buy a 390X  :wacko: I do play at 4K so 8GB would be useful especially if I get another one down the line

// irenebb-pc v5 // [] Intel i5-9400F [] Radeon VII Lisa Su Edition [] 24GB Crucial Ballistix [] Acer ED323QUR (1440p/144hz) []

nah, get the R9 Fury *not the Fury X*... It is faster then both the 980 and 390X, and HBM is way stronger at resolutions (just look at FuryX, 4GB vs 980Ti with 6GB and it still pulls ahead in many benchmarks).

Hey, my FPS is really good in CS:GO but I keep getting occasional stuttering. Like it will be 150+ and then all of a sudden it will dip and I'll lag. GPU usage is at 95% so I'm not sure why it is lagging. My old 290X never had this problem, so I'm not sure why a GTX 980 would lag. The 290X played CS:GO maxed out with Anti Aliasing all maxed out too, and on the GTX 980 I have to heavily lower settings and I still get stuttering

Any ideas?

I have the same problem. My CS:GO stutters so badly!

Isn't that just CS:GO players in a nutshell? Always looking for something to blame, such as lag, FPS, etc.; rather than their own lack of skill and potential?
