How to Overclock?

Hey guys, I'm new in overclockimg, and i dont really know how to overclock my CPU at the right speed, nor about multipliers and all. I'm using an AMD Fx6300 with a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer as a cooler, and MSI 970 Gaming for the motherboard. I hope somebody could help me overclock with this kind of cooler. Thanks!

Specs

FX 6300

MSI GTX 960 2GB 100ME

MSI 970 Gamimg

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer

Thermaltake Litepower 400W

NZXT S340

My FX 6300 got to 4.2GHz on my 4+1 VRM board, so you should get much higher clock speeds. I will post a picture of my settings as a guide.
