still no vsr with catalyst 15.7?

so I have a HD7870 crossfire setup and wanted to try out vsr since the new driver says it supports vsr on any gcn architecture gpus. but in the tab under my digital flat pannels the option is just not there, I have reinstalled the driver from cleaned with display driver uninstaller and still nothing.

When you went to the 15.7 drivers did you do a clean install of the drivers or just install over the old ones?

At first I did it over, but the current install is all drivers deleted including 15.7 then a reboot, then install 15.7 from scratch.

Hmm I'll link this thread to some AMD guys on Twitter. It seems like people on GCN 1.0 is having issues with VSR.

Okay, biggest question, why type of connection are you using? If you're using an analogue connection you won't have access to it, it needs to be  a digital connection.

I am using dvi, I can also use an active dp to dvi adapter.

Hmm, tough one.  I just checked with a R7 270 (Pitcairn/Curacao) and it worked, phoned up my brother in Florida with a 7870 and he has it too.  I'll see what I can come up with to help you out man.  Hang in there!  Can I by chance get the model # of your monitor?

I have a 7850 (also Pitcairn) and don't get VSR option. Tried with windows 7 and 8.1, tried upgrading and clean install using DDU, tried HDMI and DVI ports, but nothing seems to work.

If that was the case I wouldn't be to enable VSR on my system either since I've a Total of 4 hooked up but not running in surround.

You never know, that could be a difrence between nvidia and amd but I doubt it with how hard they brag on eyefinity.

Oh, you said surround which makes me think nvidia surround vs amd eyefinity. My bad.

EDIT: also super jelly of dat lighting. Only better 290x imo is the vapor x 8gb.

Hey guys, sorry for the delayed response, but after trying it myself and having no luck I reached out to AMD who found that there is a bug with Pitcairn specifically, they're working to resolve it
