  1. Hey guys, sorry for the delayed response, but after trying it myself and having no luck I reached out to AMD who found that there is a bug with Pitcairn specifically, they're working to resolve it
  2. Hmm, tough one. I just checked with a R7 270 (Pitcairn/Curacao) and it worked, phoned up my brother in Florida with a 7870 and he has it too. I'll see what I can come up with to help you out man. Hang in there! Can I by chance get the model # of your monitor?
  3. Okay, biggest question, why type of connection are you using? If you're using an analogue connection you won't have access to it, it needs to be a digital connection. Let me know and we'll go from there
  4. Noted, that's why I'm here. I'm honestly wanting to know how people are seeing this. Until I came here I didn't see what the big fuss was. BUT, I do now. I didn't want to come across as brushing it off, but rather explaining what was going on behind the scenes. I'm always open to a discussion at any time
  5. For sure, I always expected as much. I've gotten plenty tossed at me from it, but I completely understand and thanks for the good words As far as NDAs go, yes we've signed them.
  6. That's up to AMD to decide who they invite. So honestly you'll have to ask them regarding, but a lot has to do with getting our quantitative feedback. But when it comes to unreleased products, whoever said we received any is simply wrong. None of us have anything that hasn't been released. I'm here if anyone has questions regarding the program, and while I won't have all the answers I'll try my best.
  7. Red Team Plus is a group of actual AMD hardware users, both young and old that were invited by AMD to volunteer their time in various ways for well over a year, nearly two years for some. Some are streamers .. some are social media junkies.. some are hardware nuts and custom game builders but none are paid by AMD or are employed by the company. Here is a list of all the members if you wish to check us out for yourself. https://twitter.com/jackalopeater/lists/amd-red-team-plus/members
  8. Lol, it was experimental. I wanted to know the 'bottleneck' performance delta compared to my FX 8350. I was doing a build for my wife and decided to have a little fun along the way
  9. http://wccftech.com/witcher-3-run-hairworks-amd-gpus-crippling-performance/ This is a link to the artcle on WCCFTECH about how to enable Hairworks without destroying frame rates while using Radeon cards. I've been using it with Tessellation at 8x while at 1080p High preset + Hairworks on and sit pretty steady at 50FPS I was hesitant to share this until I couldn't find posted on the forum, so here ya go!
  10. Hey everyone, I'm extremely excited to finally be able to share some Official news about High Bandwidth Memory. 11. Whoa! I didn't even catch that, not sure what changed it in the UEFI since I didn't.....Time to retest while manually setting that! Big thanks for catch! I'll be rerunning the tests and editing the OP. now how do I get you a cookie
  12. Yeah, I ran the 2400mhz at it's stock AMP profile, but I got the decal from @westickitout on twitter Yeah, I'm sure increasing the nb and ht link will. Not sure why Aida64 derped out on the 1600mhz readings, but it was all at stock nb and ht link speeds for both tests. The only overclocking I did was purely Multiplier base
