I just got a Samsung 850 Pro 1TB from Amazon, for, £42, the price bugged out on the system and I got an order in for it. The price has changed now.

It's more than likely you'll be getting an email in the next couple of days saying that you can either get a full refund of the item, or you can pay the extra for the normal price and get the item. 

 

I did the exact same thing on another product a few days ago that was selling for £9 instead of around £70, and the day after I got an email from the company selling the product saying amazon are having a couple issues recently with the way price changes were listed.

 

But if it does go through then congratz!

I think you should probably cancel the order, but I'd ask them a couple of questions - such as about how the item was damaged and stuff.

It does seem kind of odd, but I would just cancel it just in case, but still if it were just 1 item a customer returned and was damaged why would the price on amazon have changed and been shown as new?

Yeah, I will keep asking them question for a few days, they cannot send it as Used because I have not accepted that at the moment. If it is damaged then it will not be under Samsung warranty

I guess if you don't reply and let it arrive then you could always try claiming you never saw the email before it arrived aha, then just return it if it really is broken, unless they have stopped the order till you reply??

Isn't every sale on Amazon a legally binding contract?  If so, you can tell the seller that it's their problem.  You bought a 1TB 850PRO SSD that was listed as NEW, so that's what they have to deliver.  If it's Amazon's fault, they should reclaim the lost money from Amazon.

Well actually no, not always, some are fulfilled, some aren't, true they all need to stick to Amazons trading policies though.

But either way Amazon had nothing to do with the messages the OP was receiving, they were all from 'Bonus Market' it was Bonus Market not going through with the sale, Amazon really had nothing to do with it in this case
