Installing Apps Directly to SD Card

YellowMenace

Is it possible to get the google play store to download apps directly to the sd cards, or is there an installer that can redirect the default install location of an .apk to an SD card?

I picked up a cheapo phone that has android 4.4.2 installed on it to tinker around with android on and just play with. Within 2 hours of me getting it, it was rooted and most of the bloatware ceased to exist. It runs very smooth with a qualcomm snapdragon 200 and 512mb of ram. I could actually get it to run half life 1, not bad for $20. It's main problem is it's 4gb of storage, of which, only 1.5gb is free.

I've tried to use FolderMount, but it crashes as soon as I try and open the app. You guys know of anything else that doesn't require an external computer?

It's not possible by default on stock KK 4.4 and L 5.0+, though some phones do provide that functionality.
