Not how it works, though Seasonic is good, yes.

But Seasonic make most of the Corsair range of power supplies, such as the HX, AX range.

Either way, Corsair have good power supplies. I'v been using them for years without a failed one.

Most of Corsair's psus come from CWT and not Seasonic.

CWT makes decent psus but not as consistently or as much as Seasonic.

Seasonic hasn't made Corsair PSUs for a couple of years. AX series, yes, AXi (more recent) as well as HX and TX are not Seasonic. Corsair does not make the PSU and the CX-series should be avoided so recommending Corsair power supplies isn't really the way to go. They are also quite overpriced simply because of the Corsair name.

If only the kept seasonic for the CX series like the old CX400.

IKR

I mean hey, they're still made well by Flextronics and CWT (the high end stuff) but CX series is just not great....

Its horrible how the high end corsair PSU's are so good, uneducated people see that and they assume corsair only makes good PSU's, but corsair doesn't make PSU's, and the low end stuff from corsair is horrendous for the money.

exactly

EVGA is starting to be safe to recommend though. Just hope they scrap the lower end G1s soon so that I can link them to this Amazon link
