EDIT: will scan with Windows firewall-whatever-tool and avira free-version. Enough?

EDIT_1: avira is giving me constant malware detection messages...... Oh yeah... :-( fuck my life

The only legit PS3 emulator is RPCS3: https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3

 

It's very alpha and not fit for consumer use. Again, this is the ONLY PS3 emulator available right now. Here is a great website that updates the emulators they have when new ones update/come out: http://www.emulator-zone.com

 

They also have a great forum community, but it has died down over the years. Just click on the console you want to emulate on the left side and it'll list the current emulators for it.

An emulator will never install any toolbars lol.

Be sure to check your PC with malwarebytes.

I did.

As far as I know malwarebytes completed scanning and removed everything suspicious. Shall I follow that up with a Windows scan and avira?

And java or flash(probably the 2 most used pieces of software - apart from Windows) would never do that either right?
