Budget laptop advice

numbaname

Hey guys, for a laptop that is mainly used for everyday web browsing, youtube, email, etc. Which of the two would you advise me to pick up?

option 1:

http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/category/Details.aspx?categoryId=714&productId=25855&sku=ES1511C0RB

Option 2:

http://www.visions.ca/catalogue/category/Details.aspx?categoryId=714&productId=27408&sku=ES1512C2FA

Is paying the extra 20 dollars worth the upgrade to a quad core? Since I am not sure basic web browsing would benefit at all from the extra cores..

Thanks!!

In Saudi Arabia you can get a i5 with a 1GB discrete video card for the same price, seems a little odd.

Honestly I have an Ivy Bridge Pentium and it's almost enough for web browsing most of the time. I would not recommend a Celeron.

this would be a great option if you are willing to pay for it, it is much more powerful
