its been confirmed to be a feature of the 700 series.....if nvidia were to drop it now tehy would suffer quite a loss from people returning due to false advertising(they promise something then dont deliver) or people just generally saying well the nvidia cards dont offer me anything over the amd...amd has better performance the majority of the time up to the gtx 780.......the amd 9 series should compete with that card

Yes, I am a bit pissed of with recent drivers from Nvidia. I can't wait for shadowplay.

What companies need to do is to give people a proper date for big events or released and not leave us hanging waiting for pigs to fly. I really want to see Linus or whoever review ShadowPlay properly to see if its worth

Btw since geforce experience 1.6 there is a .dll file called shadowplay in the geforce program files so i would think it would be coming soon

Meanwhile, drop Fraps for the way better Dxtory.

I honestly find Fraps less finicky than DXTory and easier to setup. Plus it gets the job done so might as well

I find I can't use either of them. Fraps limits my game fps to the recording fps so I can't play the game properly at 50fps. And I can't increase recording fps as it will have massive file sizes that can't be recorded onto my hdd quick enough. DxTory just never worked for me properly. The videos came out looking like 3fps videos (3fps is probably an exaggeration). MSI afterburner is my Goldilocks. It comes out just right. It doesn't limit my game fps and I can get decent quality with a reasonable frame rate.

Rig: i7 2600K @ 4.2GHz, Larkooler Watercooling System, MSI Z68a-gd80-G3, 8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHz CL9, Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3x 2GB OC, Samsung 840 250GB, 1TB WD Caviar Blue, Auzentech X-FI Forte 7.1, XFX PRO650W, Silverstone RV02 Monitors: Asus PB278Q, LG W2243S-PF (Gaming / overclocked to 74Hz) Peripherals: Logitech G9x Laser, QPad MK-50, AudioTechnica ATH AD700

AMD has their version of adaptive v sync

What is Adaptive V-Sync useful for anyway...

Being stuck with low end machines for quite some time, I would say I have no problem with 30fps. But yes Fraps limiting the frame rate is a bit of a down side

Keeping your FPS at your screen's refresh rate without it being halved the instant your graphics card can't deliver that many frames... /rolleyes

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Where did this July 31 release date of shadowplay even come from also? I can't find any site that says it besides this one.

People just assume it would because it based on the same tech as streaming to the shield.

It prevents tearing, it's awesome. I use it for my IPS monitor because my refresh rate is only 60hz and I achieve more FPS than that

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.
