I wasn't even born. These are probably going to sound pretty fantastic with vinyl... but I'm not so sure about modern games and music. Make sure you do an audition and listen to them first. And frankly, with ~40 year old speakers.... they've probably seen better days. It might be a little tough finding anyone who has experience with these speakers. At $240, you can get close to massive speakers that would blow these Bose away. Look into the RF-62 ii from Klipsch. They review very well, and I own two. I paid $300 a pop new, but I've seen quite a number on Craigslist for $300 a pair. I felt pretty stupid after buying them new. Oh well you live and learn, right? Even now after I bought all of my speakers, I look at some internet direct websites and I shake my head at myself. But that's hardly to say that I don't enjoy what I've purchased. I've actually been meaning to take pictures and post them to my gallery.... along with my PC. I actually ordered a sub about three weeks ago. It's finally shipping this Friday. I cannot fricking wait! Too bad we live on opposite sides of the country. I have a few pairs of speakers that I wouldn't mind getting rid of. Not sure why we changed from big to tiny speakers. We also used to have a nice extra pair in a different room wired to the extra front channel on our old receiver, but replaced that with not very good wireless (staticy) small speakers the same time we replaced the other big with small. But I don't really remember that, I was like 6 n0ah1897, on 05 Mar 2014 - 2:08 PM, said: "Computers are like girls. It's whats in the inside that matters. I have a sad feeling I'm going to be parting with my speakers when I have children. My subwoofer that hasn't even arrived yet is doomed
 Posted July 7, 2015 Maybe for exhibition, lol.... That was a good one. Yea, go look at those high quality drivers in those pieces of wood. I'd only take those for free to light on fire. Posted July 7, 2015 Author Haha that's a bit.................. dramatic. Ive been looking around my craigslist, http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5096829029.html looks nice for a good price, but i would have to use them as rear speakers, as there is a desk in front of me. http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5097921182.html or http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5109021064.html or http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5072441953.html or http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5080778140.html could probably fit on my desk. then http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/5109045008.html seems too big for tesk, too small for floor n0ah1897, on 05 Mar 2014 - 2:08 PM, said: "Computers are like girls.
