CTRL key stopping 23456789 from working ?

Depends on the keyboard but if you have a good one, then yes you might have.

I have the razer black widow it only has 10 key roll over. the unlimited would be nice

Hi

When i press 12345 the numbers come up however when i try to do this with the CTRL key held down the numbers do not work for example you can press CTRL and a number to jump from tabs in chrome but nothing happens. This also happens in cs:go as I cant change guns when crouched as i have the CTRL key held down.

Any help would be great.

There is something called rollover.

It's caused by the keyboard not able to send all the keys you press at the same time.

I had that issue too with my old keyboard, i could not use 2 when i was walking with wasd...

If you have a wired keyboard, try to connect it via PS/2, might solve it.

If it's not an option, a new keyboard is the only option...

Control, shift and alt are all modifier keys, meaning that they make other keys perform different tasks depending on what modifiers are held down. Unless specified by the software, ctrl + 1 is a different key to 1 or alt+1 or alt+ctrl+1 or shift+alt+1 etc...

This was working fine the other day and i have a new keyboard they has this function. my bro went on my computer and played with the settings and i'm trying to fix it.

My razer blackwidow is sometimes stuck at 3 D:

It's on usb atm, going to switch to ps2 tomorrow, today is the first time i got issues with rollover...

Oh well let's hope it will be fine with ps2

What kind of blackwidow do you have? I got one with MX blues and a blue light.

All fixed

The problem was that i set the way to change the language of the keyboard for English to Ctrl 2 and as i'm learning Swedish to Ctrl 3 so when i tried to do this all i was doing was changing my keyboard language.
