Radeon 8500

 

I had that back in the day, great GPU. I remember how much better the GTA games looked at 1600x1200 and 1280x1024 vs 640x480 on PS2. Still, I have to give my GTX 970 the nod for my favorite GPU ever, less driver problems (yes, even though I'm using the April Nvidia driver now since the rest are crap) and better value for the time. Plus I had to RMA my first Radeon 8500 since it only showed artifacts when I installed it.

GTX 560 ti 1GB from Gigabyte

Still works like new... Temperatures are still the same. Damn thing is almost 6 years old, and still beasting like the very first day.

Hands down my dual HD 5850s. I miss those puppies. They are tied though with my X850 XT AGP. Still have it and it still runs on my test bench when I get bored.

 

 

 

I also was a day-one adopter of the HD 2900 XT. Mine was still going til a few years ago, the stock cooler was poorly made and the VRMs popped. I had two in crossfire with a X2 5000+ for quite a while.

My 660Ti still handles games at medium to high at 1440p so I am very happy. For the price it performs like a beast. Still hang on the 960 and 760 and are much faster than the 750ti

No. The HD 7770 is NOT shitty. It's still a great card for High @ 720p or medium @1080p.

My GTX 770 would have to be the best card I have ever owned so far. Runs alot of games maxed out 1080p 60FPS. (Like BF4)

 

Before that it was an AMD Dual core APU, along with some backwater sub-100 dollar AMD GPU.

 

Installing drivers was such a pain in the a** when I used the APU/Card duo so I just dropped AMD and went with Intel/Nvidia.

 

 

Im going to hold out until Greenland and Pascal/HBM2.0 before I upgrade. Id like to hop on that new Skylake DDR4 platform as well.
