Song format for CDs

Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

I tend to use WAV when possible because I don't have capacity restraints, but FLAC is also an option people use a fair bit, which is compressed but lossless, so quality will remain the same between WAV and FLAC.

Do you mean you're going to burn them onto a CD or are you going to store them as files on a CD?

FYI, it's still burning either way.

For a funeral I need to place songs on a CD, but I do not know what to use; .mp3, .wav or something else?

If it's a "regular" CD, then any format should work, since it'll be converted to .cda by your burning software anyways. Easiest way to do this that comes with every PC is just use the built-in burn function in Windows Media Player.
