I know that occasionally graphics card makers will do a special water cooling card (for example ASUS Poseidon) but why cant card makers offer a version that includes no cooler what so ever so overclocker's can water cool the card without having to remove the stock cooler to have just sitting around wasted? It definitely would cut some cost out of the equation. Just like Intel does now by not including coolers with their chips.

I assume because it will make the card manufacture have an extra sku of the same product, which will be providing to a really niche market, not a lot of people would be buying that version of the card compared to the amount of people that would buy their other versions, so it would make things more complex and could end up losing them money

Water cooling your GPU is way more niche than buying an aftermarket CPU cooler which is why this isn't a thing

But the card maker wouldn't have to charge for the cooler making the card cheaper.  Maybe super high-end card which overclock well.

Warranty: most graphics cards manufactures have their warranty void as soon as you remove a single screw on the graphics card. Also the group of people interested is simply way too small!

I don't know, the amount of water cooling I have seen seems to be rather large to me thus being a popular thing so I would assume that to capitalize on this card makers would be rather excited about marketing to these groups of people. I know EKWB is a popular company to get these coolers from and rather be able to save $100 on the card an spend it getting the water cooler rather than not save the money by paying full price lose the warranty spending more money on the water cooler.

It's not worth it: human error, too small of a group.

Human error: There are a lot of dumb, non tech people that tend to buy the cheapest thing with the highest numbers they can find, that'd be this card. They don't know that it's missing a vital component, resulting in them just using the card and complaining it doesn't work (anymore). That's very expensive support for a company to give!

Too small group: On these forums, the YouTubes and things like that, you see a lot of people watercooling their system, yet that's only <2% of people actually buying computer parts and building their own!
