With the most reent release of Project Cars, I've really been getting into racing games. The one thing Project Cars lacks that I really want in a racing game is customization. By that, I mean I want a game like Forza or Gran Turismo where you can buy cars, upgrade them and tune them to your liking and put sick paint jobs on it.

So my main question here is there a good pc racing simulation game that offers pretty much the Forza Experience I'm looking for? If so what is it because I'm ready to buy it right now. Yes I know I can just get Forza for Xbox One but come on... PC Master race remember? Plus Forza 5 was total Garbage imo when it came to the controls of the game with the new controller. They really needed to work on that. I hope they have improved drastically on that in Forza 6. Forza 6 is the only reason I'm even keeping my Xbox ONE... Sony lacks the ability to release a decent racing game.

But yeah, sorry for the rant. What's the best racing simulation game for PC that what I'm looking for?

Thank you very much for you help - Phid

Didn't ms say something about releasing forza 6 on pc

I wish but sadly no, theres rumors that the engine will be supported by DX12 but there is nothing said about the game being released on PC. They haven't in the past so I don't see why they would now. Forza and Halo are the only things keeping Xbox ONE alive now. From release Forza was meant to be an Xbox exclusive period. Never to be released on any other console or system period. Like I said already Forza and Halo are the only reason Xbox is still alive. Competitive CoD is going to PS4 so they don't even have that anymore.

NFS or Midnight club ?

I've though about it, but they aren't really what I want. I want a real driving experience, real cars with realistic things actually being put on them and real tracks to race on. NFS and Midnight Club don't really offer any of that.

I wish they'd release Forza for PC, I've wanted Forza on PC since Forza 3 came out and I got my first PC. I'm a die hard Forza fan so I'm a little biased but it is by far the best racing simulation game that has ever been released. There is nothing that can surpass it. Gran Turismo can try but they will never succeed unless they just put every year of every car ever made every track in the world, and every style of racing there is in one game.
