CSGO is getting worse? hit detection.

I have aimed directly on people and shot, only for the game to not register it as a hit...

 

Perfect example is when i Aced on Dust II in this video, the last kill, the SSG08 was perfectly lined up for the headshot...

Depends on server as well as your net settings, cl_updaterate and cl_interp etc...

I just played a Deathmatch game. Hit Detection is horrible. I left it was bad. Also one guy kept getting head shots from across the map plus I would shoot at him and wouldn't die.

That was the last frame before you made the shot.  Looks to me you were exactly 1 pixel off.

That is wrong BTW, i will provide evidence.

 

The cap you have done is before my aim adjusted down as i fired, which made it a very accurate headshot.

 

This is the actual visual bullet in the black box.

 

The shot's i am taking are from the raw capture video.

 

 

 

Need to open this in my editor to slow it enough to see where the actual crosshair was placed, my reflex is too fast.

I had to draw a line for the horizontal line, as the game blurrs scope when in motion, so that line is lost in the clip due to how fast the aim was readjusted, this is the exact last frame before i fired.

You hit the top of the CT's head. The heads of the CT's on Dust 2 are bigger than the hit box. You missed the hitbox, not the CT's head.

Though, I will agree the hit reg is a little off as of late, but it's usually down to your ping and the server tickrate.

Yup this game is getting worse also the game does not work unless you have over 80fps...
