best antivirus

hey i have a baad feeling of my pc beeing ful of viruses, and i wonder what the absolute best antivirus is, i have heard that norton, bitdefender and avaste beeing quite high.

Nortons is garbage.

 

I personally do not use an anti-virus software anymore (occasional scan with Anti-Malwarebytes) but I have heard great things about Avast and Kaspersky.

You need a antivirus if your computer is connected to the internet, You Will get viruses. You cant go around it.

Never use norton. I recommend malwarebytes premium with microsoft security essentials, or bitdefender free.

id disagree with you highly...6 years since getting into making my own systems and have yet to get 1 or a warning of 1

that being said being avast is taking a whole...30mb of my ram and using 0.1% of my cpu I see no reason to not have that safety net.

I use Avast and Malware bytes.  Avast is good at prevention and protections and Malware Bytes is great at removal of viruses and finding things in scans that some other programs miss,

In that case you have only been on sites like Youtube, facebook and LTT(Maybe reddit, But being very cautious) and only downloaded games from Steam, Uplay and Origin.

Most of the laptops my class got is full of crapware and toolbars and shit, Even if you are cautios you can/will get something at some time.
