I've been looking at displays and have been really interested in Ultrawide, are there any downsides? Do I need really good specs to run it? Will games play right with it?

This is the cheapest I can find in my selected resolution, it has a nice bezel and a pretty decent size. Is it ok?

It's 2560X1080 instead of 1920X1080, I'm getting a 780 (3GB). I could always get a 290 instead, haven't bought it yet. I just really want to mod that reference cooler to look sexy in "Noir".

lowering the settings for a sexy ultrawide? i would do that even if its just anti aliasing

I wish I had a reference cooler for my 770 :( Stupid DC2 makes everything look so off. I plan to trade my 770 for reference one then downsize to mATX and trade or sell my Z97 Pro for a Maximus Gene and then trade or sell my Air 540 for an Air 240 ^_^

I don't mind doing that :) I came from console (PS3) so pretty much anything is going to be a massive improvement! What would I hate to lower it by though?

I have this tiny room right now (like 5mX7m), my parents are renovating the upstairs loft which is like twice the size and I'll probably have a big L shaped desk, not sure though.
