I've been using the old Razer Naga for 3 years now. Sadly I would love to keep using it but its starting to show its age. I expected it to last longer than this. It started being very unresponsive with its side buttons, then the scroll wheel when rolled down instead of just scrolling down it goes up. So what ends up happening is it scrolls down up down up or up down up down, which was really annoying especially if I'm trying to do something that requires precision. Then just today the lazer if you call it would just slide me into either a different direction or past where I would intend my mouse to go (Imagine playing RTS and wanting to move fast to look at the right hand side then it suddenly jerks either away or past the intended position).

Now I look into the new Naga Chroma. I'm not very fond of a wireless mouse but it can be used as a wired so I'm fine with that. And perhaps when I'm on the go and using my Laptop I can take it with out a very long cord. Though because of those added features the price doubles, if I'm not mistaken.

Is it worth it? Is there something better (Similar) Really love a mouse with many keys as I use Macro in Games yes, but I use them more when doing my work (3D Modeling, Redering, etc)

So long story short. Its acting up. Is the new Razer Naga "Chroma" any good?

Thanks( ゚ 3゚)ノ ! !

People talk down on Razer things most of the time, but their mice happen to be pretty good. I've had my Naga for like 2 years now and if I really wanted to I could probably keep using it for years to come :)

In terms of other mice out there that compete with the Naga - Yeh, other mice from other brands are very compelling when put next to the Naga because of things like overall quality and customer support from other companies, my experience with Razer and RMA support has been very poor, dealing with them is pretty hellish.

Id recommend just getting something like the Corsair M95

2 or 3 years is not very long for a 60 dollar or something mouse. You are paying quite a bit, so you should expect some quality.

(I have been using the same mouse 12 years now.)

Check out the Logitech G502.

Has a lot of buttons, seems to be quite comfortable and even features endless scrolling.

I just want a red Naga (not that hex Bullshit). I've had no issues with the Naga at all and I even use it at work lol (so it gets a good 8-15 hours of daily use). Some people get lucky I suppose. Also if you can wait I picked up my Naga for 30 USD on Amazon for a black Friday deal.

Not the chroma but it was the top of the line at the time.
