Hello Forum,

As you read in the title, I'm having problems rendering a video. I recorded it at 2K 60FPS using ShadowPlay and also was playing it at 2K 60FPS on my 1080p monitor. My facecam was 1080p 30FPS. After I finished editing it today, I used a custom template with the following settings. I want it at 60FPS and in mp4.

These settings: https://imgur.com/uvb5G5w,bpC98lt,gCnVDLE

Firstly: As you can see, it isn't detecting my GPU. https://imgur.com/uvb5G5w,bpC98lt,gCnVDLE#1

Sencondly: When I click 'Render" using this template, this is what it shows me. https://imgur.com/uvb5G5w,bpC98lt,gCnVDLE#2

It does render using the default mp4 preset though. I'm using Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum (purchased from Steam). I'd like you guys to help me sort this issue out.

Thanks! :)

Not sure about your first problem, but try giving your .mp4 a name with spaces and try rendering again.

It does contain spaces. Even the save file does.

It does contain spaces. Even the save file does.

So I suggested you give the rendered file or the project a different name, one that does not contain spaces.

Sorry, I don't know. Ask on something like CreativeCow.

Also, 1440p is not 2k, 1080p is 2k. Just sayin'.

What is 2K then?

According to me: 720p HD

                            1080p Full HD

                            1440p 2K

                             something 3K

                             2160p 4K

Please correct me and where can I find the answer to my question. Please explain. Thanks! :)

720p = HD

1080p = Full HD/2k

1440p = 2.5k iirc (not sure though)

2160p = A grey area really. Technically 16:9 2160p is Ultra HD, not 4k.

I have no clue, but the "Invalid Argument" bit reminds me of when people would run a desktop item with code or something like

steam.exe - /f /t

Do you have something like that?

GPU drivers are ok?

editing program is up to date?

checked your programs settings?

It's not a race to the bottom.
