Max "Safe" Voltage?

I had an inquiry about what the max "safe" voltage for a Maxwell GPU is, specifically the G1 Gaming GTX 970. I want to overclock this card balls to the walls since I have it under water with an EK FC block. Any responses are appreciated. Thanks!

well its artificially limited so just put it as high as it lets you

 

to put it any higher you will need a custom BIOS which voids the warranty and can brick your card

I was actually going to follow this tutorial, however one of the prerequisites is to know what voltage I need for my max stable OC, which MSI Afterburner doesn't tell me AFAIK. At least I can't find it. So I intended to set something like 1.275v (If that's the max "safe" voltage).

yeah thats safe

my 770 only lets me push it to 1.260v

1.3v is safe, you have to flash one of my bios's from the 970 Owners Club.

 

google "ltt gtx 970 owners club"
