Normally monitors last a long time. So, I don't see an issue with it.

preferably see it in rl, so you can check what's the image like and see if it has any dead pixels

other than that, i don't see an issue

i had aoc monitor for 7 years and it never failed me

Used monitors are usually good but check them out in person. AKA, Craigslist > tech forum guy from South Korea with a monitor for cheap

Give it a good look and decide yourself.Monitors can last a lifetime and used in good conditions.

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

depends if its a super cheap monitor or not to begin with. at my school before the tech bond, we could only get 70$ monitors, and we would burn though 1-2 a year in just a 30 student classroom. part of it was the room was stupid hot as it was 30 old computers, most with CRT monitors, running 3-d design
