Getting an SSD ?

So, I just got a mac laptop from early 2011. It has been fixed a little and it had its hard drive replaced, by a new one. Its speed is like 100mbps reading and 80mpbs writing, is this fast enough for gaming or am I going to get a huge boost if I change it for an SSD. The SSD I'm thinking of getting is a Samsung 850 Evo.

A boost in loading times, sure, but it won't benefit gaming performance aside from that.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

only thing that read and write speeds make a difference in games is loading the game up other than that theirs no performance difference at all.

It would benefit  some gaming aspect like faster loading time that about it.

Getting a SSD won't affect your game (ie the framerate), but it will speed up the loading time of all the applications on it - which for a laptop is pretty much .. everything. :P It's definitely a nice addition to an aging system, especially for the booting time and launch time of larger applications.
