Show me what you got! budget build ($1000)

EFD307

so forum, show me your best, i want to see the best hardware combined with a monitor for $1000. No need for CPU cooler stock is fine, im thinking i5 probably last gen (but go with AMD if u wish) and the best card you can budget. no overclocking, being built for a pc noob just getting into pc gaming, i convinced him to try it and hes starting to like what he sees, nothing too crazy he mostly plays LOL.

This build is slightly over budget by $200, but I reckon that it's quite decent.

Here's a tip, get an nvidia video card may be $50 dollars more expensive but they are better overall. Also go for an 8gb ram and and a mid-tower case with a atx motherboard. You also want a slightly stronger grahpics card than cpu. Take it from someone who works in this business.

I highly disagree some of the new 7xx series maybe better but radeon 7xxx series destroys all of 6xx series.

Why everyone tries to get the fx 8350 instead the 8320. the only difference is the clock speed. You can overclock it to that speed whitout having to spend those extra money

He is just getting into PCs, FX 8320 would probably be faster than anything he's used in the past, saving $30 there to put into a GPU is a good idea in my opinion.

Since he won't be overclocking at all this is the best i can come up with:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1joBu

You can get a cheaper monitor to make it 1000 bucks but i choose a good monitor because i thing it's one of the most improtant things in a pc

Seeing are your name is NvidiaGeforce you must be a Nvidia "fanboy". Yes some of the 7xx series are better than the radeon 7xxx series but the 7870Ghz Ed is still the best power to price GPU you can get. Nvidia right now also have pretty terrible drivers and also almost all up coming games are going to be optimized for AMD there is no point going Nvidia there over priced and under powered.

I would also like to know how you think it is better overall ?

Here is what i would do:

My Build  CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955@4.1@Ghz Mobo: Asus M5A99x Evo R2.0 GPU: Asus 7870T @1.25GHz Core 5.5GHz Mem Ram: Kingston HyperX@ 1600 9-9-9-24 CPU Cooler: H80 Push/Pull Noctua NF-P12  SSD: Samsung 128GB 840 PRO HDD: Mix of drives which add up to 5.6TB SoundCard: Asus xonar DGX PSU: Corsair HX650 + alchemy cables Case: R3 with the rest of the fans being fractel fans.

So are you looking for ideas for the subject or an actual practical build?

For playing League, $1000 is quite the high budget.
