This is why Mac's are the best they just can't game. Before you bash on me for liking Mac's i don't own one but I have used one.

4 because I also have visual studio 2012 installed, which includes quite a lot of them! (The computer's 7 months old)

2 (2010, x64 and x86)

 

It's all you need. Two versions (x64 and x86, if x64 OS) of every one (2005, 2008, 2010), Some programs will not work unless you have specific version they are programmed for (bug).

 

On unstable systems, removing all of them can help gaming.
