Nvidia Shield Now Launching July 31

After all of the delays, Nvidia has finally announced what should be the official Shield launch date. According to Nvidia’s statement from earlier today, the handheld gaming device will now come out on July 31st.

Agree, later versions could offer some cool features with the whole game streaming ability but right now I don't picture it going far.

I am just wondering what kind of impact this is going to have on portable gaming, it could replace gaming laptops OR it could fall between the cracks like the PSP kind of did.
