Cant reserve windows 10 copy

Hi!

Im running windows 7 Home premium 64 bit activated, and I have made sure that all updates including KB3035583 were installed, but I have not gotten the windows icon in the notification bar to reserve an upgrade. Can anyone help?

Check for updates a few times, or just wait.

I don't know if I should get windows 8.1 on my new PC or just get windows 10

The roll out is probably a bit slow.

My GF and I have the same laptop and she did get the update option while I didn't.

I got mine a few days later.

Be patient ;)

I have noticed it appears at 8pm ET on my Windows 7 installs after completing every update and rebooting. Just give it some time and it will pop up on your taskbar. Every now and then click this little expanding arrow oqxHXIj.png to see if is hiding in there or click "Customize" and make sure it isn't in there (was for my mother's PC).
